Welcome to Braeside Racing Stables
Braeside stables are situated opposite the home straight of the Clifford Park race course in the South Eastern Queensland town of Toowoomba. Toowoomba is located 127km west of Queensland's capital city, Brisbane.
Clifford Park hosted Australia's first ever night race meeting in September 1996. The Toowoomba Turf Club has recently completed the replacement of its Cushion Track with a grass track. The first meeting on the new grass track will be the New Year's Eve Return to Grass Racing Meeting on 31st December 2013.
The Braeside Racing Stables complex has 12 boxes and 12 day yards which are shaded by jacaranda trees making it a cool place in the summer months. A large sand roll is located near the entrance to the complex. On the Eastern side of the stables is a large area where horses are walked and picked on green pasture every afternoon.
All horses are walked to and from the training track each morning with excellent facilities for training with a pool and weight scales.
Racehorse Trainer and Experienced Horseman, John Thomas is ably assisted by a small and dedicated staff.
